Being an all-year destination, the Sikkim experience was pleasant and welcoming weather throughout. The cool breeze, frequent showers, and cloudy surroundings define the climate of those two surreal destinations. By its vicinity to the Bay of Bengal, Sikkim might experience humidity on some days but the pleasant breeze makes the weather bearable. Since it is a hilly landscape we faced a drastic monsoon and snowy environment.

Later on, as we were close to reaching the Nathula Top, and that we visited the hills from the highest at 1450 however, it had been an honest start for us within the friendly city of Gangtok, and post the sightseeing, we returned to the hotel within the evening and called it each.
Day 3: Gangtok City Tour
On the third day, we were scheduled to go on a city tour of Gangtok. The taxi we hired was ready for us to start the tour early in the morning. Since it wasn’t possible to hide all the spots at some point, our taxi driver advised us and took us to the simplest places that were there in Gangtok. We were impressed with how informative and knowledgeable the driving force assigned to us was. He helped us in reducing our period and maximizing our vacation experience. We started with a visit to Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok- temples dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Ganesh respectively which are maintained by the Indian Army. After taking the blessings from the almighty, we headed towards the Tashi viewpoint. It's to some extent near Gangtok which provides a bird's eye view of the Kanchenjunga Peaks. As our city tour ended, we visited the MG road within the evening and indulged in some shopping and dinner. Then we headed to our hotel.
Day 4:Yumthang Valley
Situated in North Sikkim & 13,800 ft. above sea- level, Yumthang Valley, also referred to as the valley of flowers, is heaven on earth & home of zillion flowers, especially of Rhododendron. Being filled with natural wonder & picturesque beauty, the magical place becomes better than most of the tourist spots of Sikkim. The serene river adds more charm thereto. This place is a must-visit spot since it has mountains with waterfalls and rivers flowing which makes it the best place to go. On the way from Lachung to Yumthang, the snow on the mountain-top seems to be a bit of diamond which makes the journey thought-provoking. We were strolling around for a few times & were enjoying the vicinity of such a heavenly place with our heart & soul. The valley is usually compared to the valleys of Switzerland & if one is in India, it'll be such a shame to never visit this place.
Permits:-
The whole area is under Army control thanks to the proximity to the China border. to go to Yumthang, One needs a special permit from Gang to the Tourism office or at Chungthang Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office.
